Web24 mei 2024 · I think tags are a lot more secure than names, names are nearly useless considering how easily they can be changed. I don't think the overhead for checking a tag is significant in any way at all. I pretty much consider names as "Editor-only organization helpers", even when I use a naming system I add my own Name field to a class. Something that will work like document.getElementsByClassName component.find("aura:id") won't help me - I need to get an existing html element, not something that I am generating.
