I found out I had the cable on LAN2 and by changing the network interface accordingly under Media Server - General Settings my LG tv was able to find the nas again. I could have plugged the cable back to LAN1 again of course as soon as I realised what was causing the issue!

WebFeb 26, 2024 · That can see the NAS. The TV is physically plugged into the same router that the NAS is plugged into. I looked at the LG guide but that's more to do with set-up that hasn't changed. It must be the LG TV update that I've had. I will have a look around the TV menus again and maybe try and LG forum. Thanks for the help. Peter
